Fear the Wolves gets new Early Access update

Development continues on the FPS battle royale.

Fear the Wolves launched into Early Access back in August, and so far has garnered some mixed reviews on Steam. It’s a good sign then that developers Vostok Games are continuing to update the game. Their newest update, the Unified Update has been released this week, and it sees some key improvements to the gameplay.

The Unified Update will attempt to implement faster queues for players to get started, and then more intense matches when things really get going. The patch also adds a waiting room, vaulting and voice chat, all things that were much requested in player feedback.

Alongside these changes, there is also a new game mode to enjoy; the Unified mode. This mode sees you paired with another player as default, and puts all players in the same matchmaking pool. You can still play solo if you choose, but you may quickly find yourself outnumbered, so we advise against it.

The Unified Update is out now. If you would like to find out more a Fear the Wolves, visit their Steam page.
