Voice cast revealed for Her Story spiritual sequel

Stars from Prometheus, Bird Box, and X-Men: Apocalypse make appearances.

Sam Barlow and publisher Annapurna Interactive have revealed the voice cast for Telling Lies, the all-new spiritual sequel to the hit Her Story.

The game is debuting later this year, and will include the following voice cast:

DAVID: Logan Marshall-Green

Best known for: Upgrade, The Invitation, Prometheus, Quarry, Damnation

AVA: Alexandra Shipp

Best known for: X-Men: Apocalypse, Love, Simon, Straight Outta Compton

EMMA: Kerry Bishé

Best known for: The Romanoffs, Halt and Catch Fire, Scrubs

MAX: Angela Sarafyan

Best known for: Westworld

Vivien Lyra Blair, who you might be more familiar with as “Girl” in the Netflix movie Bird Box, was given a speaking role in the game as well, though it’s unclear who she will be voicing just yet.

If you haven’t played through Her Story, it does come highly recommended, especially with its labyrinthine twists and turns and unique method of play. You’re tasked with sifting through police interview footage of a woman being interrogated about the disappearance of her husband. Of course, as luck would have it, things aren’t always what they seem.

Telling Lies is meant to expand upon Her Story by offering a bit more background on several additional characters, though we don’t know exactly how, just yet. Filming began in December 2018, and filming wraps on the project next week for a debut sometime later this year. We don’t have a concrete release just yet, but we’re certainly hoping to hear more about that soon.
