Subnautica: Below Zero will celebrate Early Access release with Twitch Stream

Get ready for some seriously weird looking Penguins.

Subnautica: Below Zero will be getting a release trailer and a twitch stream on January 30th, the day the standalone expansion will be going into early access. The game will be going into early access on Steam, Epic and Discord Stores.

The team at Unknown Worlds Entertainment elaborated on the game’s progress with this message on their website: ”Below Zero is not finished. It is full of bugs. It lacks polish, runs poorly, and is missing features. We are offering Early Access not because we want your money, but because we want your feedback. We make better games when we make them with you.”

Below Zero is an underwater adventure game set in a much chillier alien ocean world. It is a new chapter in the Subnautica universe, but stands alone as its own game. Much like the base game, you are a researcher in search of alien artifcats. When disaster strikes the Vesper station that has been keeping you afloat, you must fend for yourself in the icy landscape. Their are all manner of creatures to meet the aggressive ”Brute Shark”, and visit the adorable ”Pengwings”. Freezing adventure awaits.

The Livestream will take place 6PM UTC. To find out more about Subnautica: Below Zero on Steam.
