The Deer God marches triumphantly to the physical realm.
Crescent Moon Games and Blowfish Studios’ The Deer God is resurfacing once again this February with a physical release on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita by way of Red Art Games.
The procedurally-generated, side-scrolling adventure follows a hunter who dies after a hunting accident and finds himself reborn as a fawn. In his new life he’ll face several decisions and earn awesome powers, growing steadily into a buck until he finds a way to return to the human realm.
The game originally debuted on the PlayStation Store back in April 2017 and amassed 1.5 million times since then. Its physical release will be the first time fans will have been able to get a physical copy of the game,
“Digital distribution opened so many avenues for us, but we received an overwhelming demand for a physical edition,” said Ben Lee, CEO of Blowfish Games. “Whether it’s a keepsake for a longtime fan or someone playing it for the first time, the physical version of The Deer God will take players on an incredible journey when it releases next month.”
If you enjoyed playing through The Deer God when it first released, be sure to check out its physical version before the copies trickle down to nothing, which is a very real possibility.
You can preorder The Deer God now from Red Art Games.
