Feel the love with Degrees of Separation’s launch trailer

How well do you and your partner fit together?

Valentine’s Day is just about here, and that means it’s time to check out the games that celebrate love in all its purest forms.

One in particular is the 2D puzzle platformer Degrees of Separation, which releases on – you guessed it – Valentine’s Day. It’s a heartfelt narrative that explore the various stages of a relationship, and it’ll pull you right in, as demonstrated in its emotional launch trailer.

The game can be played solo or co-op with a friend, as one character can use the power of heat and the other handling cold. Both have to use their unique powers to overcome obstacles set in front of them, all the while exploring a lush fantasy world.

The game explores various important themes like trust and even anger, looking into how people (and those in relationships) handle things that life throws at them, as well as how energy types are handled. You’ll have to use both characters’ specialties to progress and solve puzzles, eventually realizing that only when people come together can love truly blossom.

Degrees of Separation is poised to launch on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC. If it seems like a game that might be up your alley, check out the launch trailer above and mark your calendar for February 14, Valentine’s Day. It’s the perfect game to enjoy with your sweetheart.
