Pew pew souls
Remnant: From The Ashes is a third-person shooter that also happens to be one of the best soulslike games made in the last couple of years. On top of that, we’re also getting the final DLC for it soon, Subject 2923. As such, it’s a pretty good time to try the game out if you’ve not done so yet. What makes it even more tempting, is that it’s actually going to be free on the Epic Game Store from today for a week.
I’m a firm believer in supporting developers by buying the things they put out. That means that I try and buy battle passes for games I’ve been playing for years (Rocket League), or just making sure I buy the DLC for games I love even if I’m not certain when I’ll get chance to play them (Heroes of Hammerwatch). However, it’d be foolish to miss out on an opportunity like this.
Remnant: From The Ashes is a game that’s grown on me more and more as I’ve spent more time with it. I’ve become very fond of it, and the Swamps of Corsus DLC only improved it more by adding in more content, and a proper roguelike mode to boot. Basically, Remnant is probably one of my favourite games to have come out last year, and here you, my good reader, have a chance to pick it up for free. You’ll then be able to buy the DLC if you really like it, but if not, at least you’ll have gotten to play around with an excellent game in the meantime.
