This Month’s Humble Bundle Is An Indie Treasure Trove

I’ve been a big fan of the monthly Humble Bundle for a while. I only managed to get my first PC at the end of 2017, so it’s been an essential part of me building out a library of games I’m never going to play (which is a quintessential part of PC gaming). To that end, I do occasionally miss out on how good the monthly bundles are, but I’m always happy to pick up the games just in case there are gems to be found.

This month, however, might be one of the best monthly bundles in recent memory. Alongside the excellent Golf With Your Friends, which I’ve already written about and think is an essential multiplayer game, you’ve got a veritable buffet of excellent indie titles. You’ve got Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair, which is an excellent side-scrolling platformer and a standout in a very competitive genre. There’s Strange Brigade and Generation Zero, both of which are fairly enjoyable Left 4 Dead-likes. There’s even Lethal League Blaze, which is what happens if you take a fighting game and add in baseball.

Honestly, I don’t normally talk services like this because it feels a bit like I’m trying to sell you on it, and it’s not my job to sell you on anything, it’s my job to talk about games and let you know if they’re worth your time or not. However, this month’s selection of games from Humble Bundle is almost too good to miss, so I really do recommend checking it out if you fancy any of the games in it.
