Xbox Game Pass Is An Indie Machine
You know what, I’m sick of pretending like Xbox Game Pass isn’t the most fascinating thing to happen in gaming in years. It’s not only far cheaper than buying games normally, but it automatically gives you access to a huge library of games in an instant, and it’s not just the big names that are worth checking out there, there are plenty of indie games on the service as well.
It doesn’t matter if you’re looking for something like a CRPG in Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadifre, a racing game with Wreckfest, the chance to fly around an incredible work with The Falconeer, or the opportunity to check out the latest horror games like The Medium, Game Pass probably has you covered. It’s a great way of finding new games to play with a group of friends too, because you can sort through the multiplayer titles and all just download one you fancy trying out. It’s something that’s much harder to do when you’re normally buying a game, but it works really well on Game Pass because of the subscription model.
You can also just enjoy small titles like Donut County if you fancy it too. It’s a bit cliche to say it’s got something for everyone, but it’s more likely that it’s got multiple somethings for everyone, and if this kind of thing had of been around when I was a kid, I’d have been working a couple of shifts every week to make sure I could afford it because it’s just so good.
