Risk Of Rain 2 Is Getting An Expansion Next Year 29

Good news fellow survivors, Risk of Rain 2 is getting a new expansion called Survivors of the Void, at some point in quarter one next year. You can actually go ahead right now and wishlist it, if you want to. The expansion will bring a new final boss and stage, two new survivors, forty new items, including a new tier, nine new monsters, two bosses, two new elite types, four new stages, three new interactive items, new music and a new game mode. That sounds like a lot, doesn’t it?

The Simulacrum sounds really interesting. It’s a wave-based mode that’ll basically task you with standing your ground for as long as possible until you just flat out die. It’s a bit like the main mode, but you won’t have to teleport around as much. Honestly, more Risk of Rain 2 can only be a good thing, and with how good the game already is, we’re obviously very excited to see more of the game. The only trouble is that the steam page seems like it’s having some trouble. At the moment, there’s no text to indicate what exactly has happened to our beloved survivors and the things that hunt them. Instead, all we’ve got is this peculiar string of text:
