Knights Of Valour adds new stages, character and gear

Free to play side scrolling beat ’em up gets twelfth playable character.

Knights Of Valour is a side-scrolling beat ’em up, with a choice out of a pool of many different characters, each with unique traits and weapons to fit your individual play style. Collect equipment and learn lots of new skills to enhance your characters’ abilities, and create customized skill combos to design unique serial attacks. This allows for a huge variety of character and equipment combinations for both the single player and the online co-op gameplay for up to four players.

Available now in the new update is the 12th playable character, Ma Chao. As a speed-type character this Hussar general specializes in rapid attacks with long swords and swift attacks with flying daggers on the battlefield. In addition to his personal attacks, he is able to summon wild beasts to attack his targets by distracting them and defeating them with an explosive final attack.

Ma Chao possesses great agility and carries out quick combos within melee distance, as well as ranged attacks with flying daggers. The general is also able to summon wild beasts to assist during battle. His ultimate skill “Bites of the Wild Beasts” summons rare beasts, including the Black Tiger and the White Hawk, to launch a large area of effect attack towards the enemy. Furthermore, the max stage of the Expedition Game Mode has been elevated from 80 to 100, offering a chance at collecting more valuable loot from stronger enemies, including the newly added pieces of Ancient Equipment.

Ancient Equipment, containing powerful energy and exclusive skills, can be created by collecting fragments within the Expedition Mode and Story Stage 6-4 and exchanging them in the game’s “Silver Store”. Knights Of Valour is available for free now, exclusively on the PS4 store.
