The Escapists: Complete Edition breaking out on Switch

Critically acclaimed prison break out sim coming later this month.

The Escapists is a unique prison sandbox experience with lots of items to craft and combine in your daring quest for freedom. Life in prison will keep you on your toes with the strict rules that you’ll have to break. The guards are out to stop any escape attempts, so you’ll have to avoid suspicious behaviour by attending roll calls, working a prison job and hiding your stolen craftables.

Escaping won’t be easy though. You’ll have to work around the strict prison schedule and avoid the unwanted attention of guards. You’ll need some cash to put your plan in to action. Get a prison job or perform favour requests for your fellow inmates to earn those vital funds. Use your hard-earned cash to barter with traders for tools and crafting supplies. Just make sure you find a good hiding place for your stash and pay attention during roll call to avoid cell shakedown, you wouldn’t want to lose that coveted shovel you’ve worked so hard to craft together.

The Escapists: Complete Edition is launching on the Switch on the 25th of September, priced at £9.99 / $14.99 / €14.99. The complete edition includes all the prisons from the original game as well as nine extra maps.
