Nantucket DLC Songs for the Braves out now
Arrhhg sea shanties were asked for and are coming into harbour.
Independent developer Picaresque Studio, the creators behind the seafaring strategy title Nantucket, have today released the games first DLC titled Songs of the Braves. This DLC adds 10 new sea shanties, bringing more than 30 minutes of additional music to enhance players experience while sailing the seas. Additionally, all the shanties are performed by The Roaring Trowmen, the Bristol based band behind all of the original sea shanties that are currently present inside the game. Daniele Monaco, co-author of Nantucket, recently had this to say about the launch of the DLC and response to the games release.
“Since the release of Nantucket, we have received so much love by the players for the atmosphere of the game. Songs of the Braves will definitely add more depth, and will help the players delve even deeper in 19th century seafaring adventures”
For those who have not heard of Nantucket, the game takes place shortly after the evens in the Pequod, where Captain Ahab and his crew lost their lives to Moby Dick. As Ishmaul, the sole survivor of the Pequod you’ll explore the seven seas, captain your ship, fight pirates and hunt whales whilst on the lookout for your old foe, Moby Dick.
