Octahedron heads to Nintendo Switch

Psychedelic platformer to arrive on Switch in early 2019

Square Enix Collective announced today that the trippy Octahedron will finally be making its way to Nintendo Switch on January 17th, 2019. It has been around on Steam, PS4, and Xbox One since March, but now Switch owners can experience this unique platformer.

Octahedron, developed by Switzerland-based indie studio Demimonde Games, is a crazy neon platformer. You have been sent to the depths of a subterranean realm called Veetragoul and all you have to do is work your way up and escape. To do this, you need to listen to the psychedelic soundtrack and understand the beats because your enemies and the traps in the realm are in-tune with the music. Master how they work and you’ll soon be climbing out!

Music really does play an integral part of the game. A lot of the game’s success is due to its progressive house and synthwave soundtrack which features music by Chipzel, André Sobota, Monomirror, as well as many others.

If you can’t wait to experience Octahedron on the Nintendo Switch then make sure you get yourself online to download the free demo on December 28th (a free demo is also available on other platforms). It will be available to pre-purchase from that date until January 16th with a 25% discount. Full price will be £9.99/$12.99/€12.99.
