Trine Series 1-3 gets physical Nintendo Switch edition

The trifecta of adventure gaming gets a physical version.

Developer Frozenbyte has announced that Trine Series 1-3, previously announced for Nintendo Switch, will be getting a physical version, published by GameTrust.

If you’ve never played Trine, you’re definitely going to remedy that – especially since there’s a Day of the Tentacle-themed costume you can play with. The puzzle platformer that also sprinkles in action elements features three playable heroes with different play styles and personalities: Pontius the Knight, Zoya the Thief, and Amadeus the Wizard. They have control over an artifact called Trine, and they’re on a quest featuring princesses, goblins, and fantastical environments to traverse.

The physical version of the game will come packing Trine Enchanted Edition, Trine 2: Complete Story, and Trine 3: The Artifacts of Power all on one Nintendo Switch game card. The game will also support online and local co-op that supports up to three players. It should be a valuable addition to your Nintendo Switch collection, especially since there’s always the option of playing with friends.

The physical edition is available for pre-order now exclusively via GameStop in-store and online, and will release this spring for $39.99. It’s always a great idea to support indies when they have physical releases, so make sure you snag a copy for yourself if this is the type of game you typically dig – you’ll have a ball with this trilogy’s puzzle-solving.
