Unicorn Tails Is Skyrim For Seven-Year-Olds

No Arrows In These Knees

Sharing gaming with your kids is something that most parents will want to do nowadays. Many of us grew up with games and have found a lot of comfort and enjoyment in it, and it’s natural that we’d all subtly try and get our kids to find that same passion. Unicorn Tails is a game made with exactly that idea in mind, and it does so in a rich fantasy world akin to something like Skyrim.

It’s a game made by the people over at RavenFist Studios, and this is their first game. It’s built from the ground up to be the kind of game that you can share with your kids, one that aims to be enjoyed by both children and the adults that are helping them through it. The aim is to appeal to everyone, even if just a little. It’s kind of like how Pixar films slip-in jokes that are specifically for adults, but with gameplay.

Unicorn Tails has a lot of what you’d expect; unicorn creation, an open world, quests to complete, items to find, and lots of characters to meet. It also has a couple of really nice touches like fully narrated books, meaning that if you come across a book in-game, you’ll be able to listen to it instead of scrolling through the text.

Unicorn Tails is only in Early Access at the moment, but it’s a fascinating idea, and already looks quite enjoyable too. Give it a look if you’re looking for something a little less intense to play with your little ones.
