The Blind Prophet Delayed For Language Update

A devilish delay for comic book Kickstarter.

The Blind Prophet was scheduled for release this week but has been unexpectedly postponed. A quirky point-and-click with a comic book twist, the game was fully funded on Kickstarter last year.

One of the main emphases of The Blind Prophet’s Kickstarter Stretch Goals was translation. Through some exciting twist of fate, Ars Goetia Games have managed to secure a deal that includes a Chinese translation from day one. This means that the game will have three key languages on release – an update worth the wait.

Although backers of the project may be incensed to hear of a delay, The Blind Prophet’s first hour was released to Kickstarter donors on Tuesday. The team has also promised a selection of more in-depth mini-games given their extra time, releasing a few gifs of the mechanics on their website.

With 99 panels of highly detailed comic-style artwork, and a compelling storyline flecked with challenges, The Blind Prophet focuses on fluidity and ambience to tell its story.
